You are applying for Area Sales Manager – Yorkshire & East Midlands
Area Sales Manager to join its rapidly expanding team in an all-round management position with responsibility on Domestic, Industrial, Commercial and emergency lighting range selling directly into electrical wholesalers. A focused, energetic and extremely passionate sales person with an attitude driven for success will be best placed within this role.
Main Duties
• Territory sales role selling all of the Ovia Ltd product offer into distributors on that area (Push/Pull role)
• Sales out activity by way of pro-active support to local contractors aligned to our distributors (Joint sales calls/trade counter mornings/local ECA branch meetings/product training etc.)
• Successful candidates will be required to be focussed on being able to identify sales opportunities with both existing and new accounts and be able to strategically develop those opportunities within the set parameters of Ovia’s commercial trading philosophy
• A dynamic approach and strong work ethic are a must as is the ability to carry out the more mundane – but equally important – aspects of the job (admin/calendar updates/adherence to company policies/expenses etc.)
• A full and preferably clean driving licence is a must (any points need to be advised at initial interview stage) and computer literacy with the ability to use word/excel/outlook etc. also being a key requirement.
